Who is it for?
For knowledge workers who have completed the Copilot Fundamentals and want to get more out of Copilot. You work on a workflow with sources and context you control yourself, working toward the result you are after, with context as the throughline.
Program
In half a day you design your own workflow, including sources, context and prompts.
Context as the throughline
Block 1
Context as the throughline
Block 1
- • Draft a context document: background and audience
- • Define decision criteria
- • Decide what Copilot may assume
Context document for the workflow
The right tool, used the right way
Block 2
The right tool, used the right way
Block 2
- • Build a workflow across Notebooks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- • Carry context forward at every handoff
- • Keep goal, figures and definitions consistent
Working workflow with context and prompts
From separate tools to a controlled workflow
Most Copilot users work tool by tool: a prompt in Word, a question in Excel, without the context carrying over. This training takes a different approach. You start with a context document capturing background, audience, decision criteria and what Copilot is allowed to assume. That document is the thread running through the rest of the day. Where the AI Workflow session redesigns a team process independent of the tool, here you learn as an individual user to carry your context from tool to tool inside the Microsoft 365 apps.
You then build a workflow with Copilot across Notebooks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. At every handoff between tools you reconnect the context and check that goal, figures and definitions still hold, so nothing gets lost along the way.
What you take away
After this half day you’ll have applied the context formula to a workflow yourself and gained hands-on experience with Notebooks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with Copilot. You leave with a framework, including context and prompts, ready to use in your own projects.
