Carina van Selling

Carina is a lecturer-researcher at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where she focuses on digital marketing within the Commercial Economics programme. She previously trained entrepreneurs on behalf of Google Digital Workshop. She also works as a freelance online marketer.

At Copilot Academy she trains teams in working with Microsoft Copilot. She works with AI herself every day: in client projects, as a trainer of AI models, in projects at Hanze and in her lectures. This means she moves between different AI applications and perspectives.

Carina's trainings are hands-on above all. Participants work on their own tasks, share them with each other and give feedback, so that after a few hours there is something real they can build on. All the while, she keeps one question alive: is this actually correct? AI always gives an answer, after all, even when it makes no sense. And seeing that difference calls for your own expertise.
