150 employees AI-skilled in 3 months
Dura Vermeer wanted to roll out Copilot broadly across 2,800 employees. The challenge: digital skills vary widely.

€250,000 in licenses: how do you realize ROI?
Dura Vermeer has 2,800 employees and wanted to roll out Microsoft Copilot broadly. But digital skills vary widely: from office colleagues who work with Office daily to construction site workers who barely open a laptop. With €250,000 in Copilot licenses on the horizon, adoption had to be fast and broad.
A phased implementation strategy
We chose a proven approach: start small, learn, then scale up.
Pilot phase
Two experimental groups of 15 employees interested in AI, to validate the training.
Evaluation & Adaptation
Pilot feedback processed: pace adjusted, more sector examples added.
Scaling
Larger groups via open enrollment. Cohorts of 45 participants, multiple rounds in parallel.
Ongoing Support
Open walk-in coaching sessions for questions and knowledge sharing after training.
Measurable impact
- 150 trained employees within 3 months
- 8 hours training per person including practical assignments
- Greater confidence in applying AI
- Better Copilot adoption and ROI on license investment
- Active knowledge sharing among employees
"Our people now understand how AI works and actually dare to use it. The hands-on approach makes all the difference."
